ABOUT DELTA TRAPS

Delta Traps are for monitoring stored product moths in NON DUSTY FOOD PROCESSING AND STORAGE AREAS, PARTICULARLY IN HIGH HUMIDITY AREAS.

The pests are attracted to the trap by a pheromone lure where they are trapped on a glue surface. The traps are generally used in a grid pattern high up in the roof of the area to be monitored. The traps give a general indication of WHERE AND WHEN AN INFESTATION OCCURS.

The smaller Stored Product Locator traps are then placed in equipment/pallets etc to locate the infestation precisely. Infestations can then often be eliminated by cleaning, without resorting to the use of chemical pesticides.

ABOUT FUNNEL TRAPS

Funnel traps are high capacity, injection molded traps used for monitoring stored product moths in DUSTY FOOD PROCESSING AND STORAGE AREAS.

The funnel traps can be used with both standard and long life lures and various types of killing systems. The patented stripes increase the sensitivity of the traps. Again, these traps are designed for use as a permanent monitoring system in conjunction with SP locators to pinpoint sources of infestation.

Trapped moths can be retained in the funnel traps either by sticky paper inserts or by DDVP insecticidal strips.
